Ashlie & Matt // Engagement Session // Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Ashlie has been a friend of mine for a while now, and I was SO excited when she asked me to photograph her engagement session! Her and Matt are both such awesome humans, and wanted to do a colorful smoke toss engagement session (which of course I was all for!). If you want to try this at home, you can buy environmentally friendly holi powder online (made from easily washed away cornstarch), and make sure you’re in a place where the color won’t leave any permanent damage. We had a blast on Coligny Beach of Hilton Head Island, getting the last beautiful colors of the sunset before it got dark. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in December - since all of their family members dance, I just know their reception is going to be a hoot!
