Claire & Paul // Savannah, Georgia Engagement Photographer // Tybee Island Beach Engagement Photos

Claire and Paul are well known on this website - they have had a quite few sessions done by me! A fun couples shoot at a local farm and in downtown Savannah on a rooftop, a disco session in a local bar, and we even rode around downtown in a 1970s Ford Mustang together. Obviously I was thrilled when they hired me to shoot their engagement session! Their style is undeniable, and they always show up in the funkiest fun outfits to work with me. Claire sent me her Inso photos - western, desert, bright, and sparkly was the vibe. We used some tinsel for a fun flare and we chose Back-river Beach on Tybee Island as our location since Savannah doesn’t really have a desert.

Obsessed is an understatement when it comes to this session. From the tinsel blowing in the wind, to Claire’s sunglasses, to the beautiful golden hour light, I LOVE how these turned out. The sky on the beach was full of the prettiest clouds, and they’re always such a joy to photograph because you can feel the love between them in every photo.

If you’re looking for a more secluded beach location for your photo session, I really do recommend Back-river Beach! It’s a little off of the tourist path, less windy, and the sun actually sets over here because this beach is West facing. It’s the perfect place on Tybee Island to swim, have a beach picnic, or shoot some really cool photos.
